RankedRobot-chip maker D-Robotics raises $400m Series C

D-Robotics, a Hong Kong-based maker of chips for embodied-AI and robotics, says it has completed a $400 million Series C round, with a strategic investment from a large internet company plus existing shareholders and other institutions.
The company says its Sunrise chip family has shipped more than 8 million units, and that its Sunrise S600 chip has been adopted by more than 20 embodied-AI customers within six months, including UBTech, Fourier, Astribot and Booster Robotics. D-Robotics says it will use the funds to expand its chip lineup and software for training and deploying robot AI models.
The company reports revenue grew several-fold year-on-year in the first half of 2026, and that its developer programme now spans more than 100,000 developers in over 20 countries.
