AgiBot cites IDC data showing it shipped most humanoids in first half of 2026
The Shanghai maker says it shipped more than 8,600 humanoids in the half and has now built 20,000 robots in total.

AgiBot says figures from the research firm IDC put global humanoid shipments at close to 25,000 units in the first half of 2026, up 432.1% on a year earlier. According to the company's release, IDC ranks AgiBot first, with more than 8,600 units and roughly 35% of the total.
The company also says its 20,000th robot came off the production line in September. Separately, it has placed 100 AGIBOT X2 humanoids in 100 shops run by the cookware maker ASD, where the company says they greet customers and explain products before handing over to staff.
Market estimates differ. Humanoids Daily reports that an earlier Counterpoint count for the same period gave just over 22,000 units, with AgiBot at 9,700. IDC also expects annual shipments to pass 750,000 by 2030, AgiBot says.
